How to embed Facebook videos onto your website…

If you have or like a video that was uploaded directly to Facebook, use the code below to post on your website. It works for Safari & Firefox.

First, click on your video in Facebook to find the video url. Now, copy the video number which appears after the “v” in your url.  Then, insert your video number where I’ve indicated into the code below. For example:

Here’s the url for the below video:

http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=1397026358332

Use this code:

<object width=”400″ height=”224″ >
<param name=”allowfullscreen” value=”true” />
<param name=”allowscriptaccess” value=”always” />
<param name=”movie” value=”http://www.facebook.com/v/xxx” />
<embed src=”http://www.facebook.com/v/xxx” type=”application/x-shockwave-flash”
allowscriptaccess=”always” allowfullscreen=”true” width=”400″ height=”224″>
</embed>
</object>

Example for above Lakers video:

<object width=”400″ height=”224″ >
<param name=”allowfullscreen” value=”true” />
<param name=”allowscriptaccess” value=”always” />
<param name=”movie” value=”http://www.facebook.com/v/1397026358332″ />
<embed src=”http://www.facebook.com/v/xxx” type=”application/x-shockwave-flash”
allowscriptaccess=”always” allowfullscreen=”true” width=”400″ height=”224″>
</embed>
</object>
